(CercleFinance.com) - WPP said many of its businesses were experiencing no, or just minimal, disruption on Tuesday after being affected by the "Petya" ransomware attack that has hit several large companies worldwide.
"Our operations have not been uniformly affected, and issues are being addressed on a company-by-company basis," the advertising company said in regulatory news.
After taking steps to contain the attack, the group's priority is to return to normal operations "as soon as possible" while protecting the systems.
WPP says it is already working with IT partners and law enforcement agencies to restore services, and keep the impact to a minimum.
