Moncler: shares fall as major shareholder sells its stake
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares in Italian down jacket maker Moncler are down around 2% at 36.
3 euros on Wednesday after historical shareholder Eurazeo sold its entire 4.8% stake in the company.
The French investment firm has sold its remaining 12.2 million shares at 36.5 euros per share, for a total of approximately 445 million euros.
Eurazeo now no longer holds any Moncler shares.
Eurazeo first invested in Moncler in June 2011, acquiring a 45% stake in the company with a total equity value of about 930 million euros.
Its eight-year investment in Moncler has generated a return of 1.4 billion euros, the company said.
