Atlantia: looking into the future of Alitalia
(CercleFinance.com) - In the wake of articles in the press, Atlantia said yesterday that its Board had mandated CEO Giovanni Castellucci to look into the future of airline Alitalia.
This includes investigating “the new Alitalia business plan - including the new shareholding structure and the management team” as well as “the necessary measures for a lasting and effective re-launch of the airline”.
Alitalia also owns motorway and airport concessions such as Rome airports, an important hub for Alitalia.
Afterwards, Giovanni Castellucci will present his observations and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
