Eni: collaboration between Versalis and Gruppo Boero
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces that its chemicals company, Versalis, has begun a collaboration with Gruppo Boero, a specialist in paint products for the construction and yachting industries, around the development of products made from renewable raw materials for the yachting industry.
As such, Versalis has developed hardeners for epoxy systems that are more sustainable than existing alternatives on the market, containing over 50% of raw materials from renewable sources.
The collaboration also includes the use of a biobased raw material with antibacterial properties that has multiple potential applications.
