ENI: launches digital tool for sustainable development
(CercleFinance.com) - Today Eni announced the launch of Open-es, a digital platform dedicated to sustainable development in industrial supply chains.
The result of a partnership between Eni, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Google Cloud, this platform is open to all companies that want to play a leading role in the growth of the industrial ecosystem in terms of sustainability, the Italian energy group said.
The idea is to take full advantage of synergies between sustainability and digital transformation and to create a community around a collaborative and non-competitive process for joint growth.
To date, about 1,000 companies have already joined this community, Eni says, with each newcomer integrating its own suppliers and production lines.
