Enel: to merge with its Chilean subsidiary
(CercleFinance.com) - Enel and Enel Américas, its Chilean subsidiary, are about to merge.
The Chilean Board of Directors has begun the process of approving the merger, aiming to simplify the group's organisation by integrating the Enel Group's unconventional renewable energy activities in Central and South America (except Chile) into Enel Américas.
The merger will particularly result in Enel increasing its stake in Enel Américas.
