Sodastream: increases targets for 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - This Wednesday before Wall Street opened SodaStream announced that it has raised its FY EPS forecast.


It now expects EPS to increase by 8%, against +5% previously estimated.
Similarly, the Israeli specialist in the manufacture and marketing of fizzy drinks equipment has revised its 2018 sales growth target, now expecting +15%, against +12% expected initially.

SodaStream recorded Q1 EPS of 81 cents, up 15 cents year-on-year. In particular, the consensus was much less confident, expecting EPS of "just" 71 cents.

Meanwhile, Q1 2018 revenues grew by 24.6% y-o-y to 143.6 million dollars, against 132.8 million dollars expected by the market.

The stock was bubbling in pre-market trading today, up 5.6%, after these much better than expected results.
