Linde: completes sale of Korean assets
(CercleFinance.com) - German industrial gas maker Linde said on Tuesday that it has completed the sale of some Korean assets as a pre-requisite to its recent merger with Praxair.
The company said Linde Korea has completed the sale of selected assets to IMM Private Equity in response to demands from the Korea Fair Trade Commission.
The assets divested include bulk and on-site business, as well as oxygen and nitrogen on-site generators, which generate annual sales of approximately 220 million dollars.
The purchase price of 1.2 billion dollars will be subject to adjustments at closing, Linde said.
