Linde: completes required divestitures from Praxair deal
(CercleFinance.com) - German industrial gas maker Linde has completed the required divestitures requested by antitrust regulators for the acquisition of its US rival Praxair, the company said on Friday.
Linde said the restrictions issued by the US Federal Trade Commission have been lifted following the completion of certain divestitures in the US.
This means that the company will now fully integrate its business globally.
In October, Linde completed its merger with Praxair, creating a giant in industrial gases, with a market capitalization of approximately 80 billion euros.
