Linde: raises quarterly dividend 6%
(CercleFinance.com) - German engineering group Linde raised its dividend by 6 percent on Tuesday, boosting its payout as the company completes the acquisition of US rival Praxair.
The industrial gas maker increased its quarterly payout to 0.875 dollar a share. This dividend will be payable on 22 March to shareholders on record as of 8 March, Linde said.
"Linde is committed to rewarding shareholders with a competitive dividend," said Chief Executive Officer Steve Angel.
Linde shares were down 1.3% at 152 euros in Frankfurt in early afternoon trading.
