Accenture: buys Spanish engineering services firm Arca

(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has agreed to acquire Arca, a Spanish engineering services firm, as the consulting giant seeks to strenghthen its 5G network capabilities.


The deal will reinforce Accenture's role as a key partner for the engineering, design, and deployment of network services - notably 5G - for clients from the telecoms, industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors, the company said.

It will also enhance its expertise in voice, data, video, fixed, mobile and IoT in Spain and Portugal, the group said.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1998, Arca has 14 offices in Spain including Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, and Sevilla, with about 640 employees.
