Accenture: Q4 EPS just below expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has announced Q4 2019-20 EPS that is up 14% at 1.
99 dollar, thanks to gains made on an investment, without which EPS would have fallen by 2% to 1.70 dollar, missing the consensus by three cents.
The consulting and outsourcing services giant saw its revenues slip 2% to 10.84 billion dollars (-1% in local currency), penalised by a decline in revenues from reimbursable travel costs.
Reporting FY results that are in line with expectations, Accenture has therefore announced a 10% increase in its quarterly dividend to 88 cents per share and a 5 billion dollar increase in its share repurchase authorization.
