Accenture: acquires UK-based cybersecurity consultancy firm
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has agreed to acquire Context, a London-based information security service provider, representing its most recent move to strengthen its security portfolio.
Founded in 1998, Context provides high-end cyber defense, intelligence-driven red team, vulnerability research and incident response services, particularly for the financial sector.
According to Accenture, they have been involved in handling some of the most advanced incident response cases in the industry.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Earlier this year, Accenture agreed to acquire Symantec's cyber security business, the latest example in a string of acquisitions on the cybersecurity market.
