Accenture: agreement with Italy's Saipem for digital apps
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian oil services group Saipem has signed a deal with IT consulting giant Accenture on Wednesday to develop digital applications and implement a new IT model, the company said.
Accenture will provide IT infrastructure, networking and telecommunications services, and will also manage the evolution of Saipem's key business applications, it said.
Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Accenture will assist Saipem in its transition to the cloud and network virtualization, along with other projects, such as big data and analytics, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, automation or cybersecurity.
