Vodafone: sells Vodacom stake for 960 million euros.
(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone has sold 90 million ordinary shares of its South African mobile operator Vodacom, making gross proceeds of approximately 962 million euros, the telecommunications group said on Wednesday.
After this placement is complete, Vodafone will indirectly hold 1.11 billion ordinary shares in Vodacom, representing approximately 64.5% of Vodacom's share capital.
