TechnipFMC: agreement with Magnora in floating wind energy
(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC announced last night that it has signed an agreement with Norway's Magnora for the joint development of floating offshore wind projects.
Under the partnership, called "Magnora Offshore Wind", TechnipFMC plans to contribute its integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI) expertise.
In particular, TechnipFMC says it wants to capitalise on its "Deep Purple" technology, an initiative that combines wind, wave power and green hydrogen.
In their statement, both companies say that the "Magnora Offshore Wind" teams are already working on calls to tender in Scotland and Norway.
