easyJet: shares outperform after broker comments.
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares of British low-cost airline easyJet are slightly outperforming London's FTSE 100 index on Friday following positive broker comments on the stock.
In a research report issued this morning, UBS - which has a "buy" rating on the stock - raised its target price from 1,465 pence to 1,545 pence, saying that the airline is "better positioned" for the year ahead.
Separately, analysts at RBC Capital Markets raised their target price for the share from 1,300 pence to 1,450 pence.
Against this, Liberum maintained its "sell" rating on easyJet, with a target price of 1,100 pence, despite acknolwledging "better short-term trading".
easyJet shares are up 0.1 percent at 1,378 pence, while Britain's FTSE index is down 0.2 percent.
