Rolls-Royce: could raise up to 2.5 billion pounds
(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce confirms that it wants to examine all the solutions to strengthen its balance sheet following several reports in the press.
Amongst the various solutions, the group is considering a capital increase of up to 2.5 billion pounds: it is also looking at issuing new debt securities.
The FT has said that the group is in talks with sovereign wealth funds, including the Singaporean GIC Aurel BGC reported this morning.
No final decision has yet been made on the type of operation and when to proceed with it.
