Marks & Spencer: names interim CFO
(CercleFinance.com) - Marks and Spencer on Friday named David Surdeau interim chief financial officer, replacing Humphrey Singer who resigned in September.
M&S said that, pending the announcement of a new group chief financial officer, David Surdeau is joining the business on an interim basis to oversee the finance function.
Surdeau - a longtime executive at rival Tesco - begins on 7 January.
Humphrey Singer left the British retailer after just a year and a half in this role.
