BT Group: in talks to sell French business to Computacenter
(CercleFinance.com) - BT has entered exclusive negotiations with Computacenter, a British provider of IT infrastructure services, about the sale of its operations in France, the telecom operator said on Tuesday.
BT's domestic business in France includes management and maintenance of IT and network infrastructure, as well as networking and related professional services, the group said.
During the fiscal year ending in March 2019, its operations generated total revenue of 104 million pounds (about 118 million euros).
The move comes as BT is currently seeking to focus on next-generation networking, cloud and security services for multinational organisations.
