AstraZeneca: names former Nissan CFO to board
(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca has appointed the former Chief Financial Officer of Nissan on its board of directors, according to a statement issued on Thursday.
Joe Peter recently retired as Nissan's CFO, having held this position for nine years. Before working at Nissan, he spent 25 years with General Motors.
As Rudy Markham intends to retire as non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee in 2019, AstraZeneca also said that Graham Chipchase would become senior independent non-executive director of the company.
As from March 2019, Philip Broadley will become chairman of the audit committee, the drugmaker added.
