(CercleFinance.com) - GlaxoSmithKline's presentations at the upcoming European Respiratory Society will focus on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The drugmaker's first presentation will deal with two pivotal phase III studies on mepolizumab, an investigational add-on treatment for patients with eosinophilic chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
However, in all, 45 abstracts will be shared about treatments for patients with respiratory diseases, GSK said.
The European Respiratory Society (ERS) conference will be held in Milan between 9 and 13 September.
