BP: EU approves purchase of its petrochemical activities
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the purchase of BP's chemical activity by INEOS, which will have exclusive control over this business.
In line with the EU Merger Regulation, the Commission concluded that the proposed merger would not raise any competition concerns, given the presence of several other well-established competitors on the market.
