BAE Systems: presents amphibious vehicle in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems and Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV) announce that their amphibious combat vehicle (ACV) has made its debut at an international trade show at the FEINDEF defence and security exhibition in Madrid from 17 to 19 May.
The ACV family of vehicles, the result of a strategic partnership between BAE Systems and IDV, supports the expeditionary mobility of the US Marine Corps (USMC), amongst others.
BAE says that the production lines for this amphibious combat vehicle are currently running at full capacity.
This is the first time the amphibious combat vehicle has been showcased outside the US, and it is a point of pride that it is here in Spain, a long-time US and NATO ally, BAE Systems said.
