bioMérieux: CE marking of three dengue tests
(CercleFinance.com) - bioMérieux announces the CE marking of its three innovative and fully automated diagnostic tests for dengue virus infection (VIDAS DENGUE NS1 Ag, VIDAS Anti-DENGUE IgM and VIDAS Anti-DENGUE IgG).
With 100 to 400 million people infected each year, dengue is the most widespread arbovirosis in the world. Its global incidence has increased eightfold over the last 20 years.
These VIDAS DENGUE tests can be used independently to identify viral antigen (NS1) and antibodies (IgM and IgG) produced by the host in response to infection. All three serological tests are recommended by international guidelines.
