Victoire de Margerie has indeed decided to leave office with immediate effect.
As half-sister of the late Christophe de Margerie (former Total boss), 54-year-old Victoire de Margerie has chaired Rondol Industrie since its creation in 2012. Since 2012, she has also been a member of Arkema's board of directors and Eurazeo's supervisory board.
Since 2015, Victoire de Margerie has also been a director of British engineering firm Babcock International and vice-chair of the World Materials Forum.
