Valeo: agreement with WABCO on active safety technology
(CercleFinance.com) - Valeo announces the signing of a memorandum of understanding with WABCO for the marketing of the latest active safety technologies for commercial vehicles.
These technologies aim to protect pedestrians and cyclists in city traffic and enable certain autonomous driving functions.
Valeo will bring its expertise in the field of perception systems, and more specifically LiDAR radars and scanners. WABCO will contribute its knowledge of market needs and regulations.
The MoU will first focus on a radar solution that will be marketed from 2020, delivering blind spot warning assistance to drivers.
