Valeo: strategic cooperation with Apollo Platform
(CercleFinance.com) - Valeo has announced a strategic cooperation with Apollo, the collaborative platform for the autonomous car created by the Chinese group Baidu, to which Valeo will contribute its expertise in sensors.
The automotive supplier will also bring its expertise in sensor cleaning systems, connectivity between autonomous vehicles, and control and optimisation of air quality in the cabin.
Valeo will benefit from all the software, hardware and data tools (operating, location, mapping, simulation engines, cloud, algorithms, etc.) provided by Apollo, via its platform, to its partners.
