GTT: two orders from Hyundai Heavy Industries
(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announced on Wednesday that it received two orders from the Korean group Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), both of which concern the design of the vats of a new LNG carrier; one for the shipowner Tsakos and the other for Capital Gas Carriers.
Both ships will have a capacity of 174,000 m3.
GTT will design the vats for these units, which will integrate Mark III Flex membrane containment systems. The ships will be delivered in Q4 2021, it said.
