GTT: wins two orders from Hyundai Group
(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announced on Monday that it has received two orders from the Hyundai group, to design tanks for two LNG tankers that have respective capacities of 180,000 m3 and 174,000 m3, on behalf of two shipowners, which, for the moment, remain confidential.
Both these LNG carriers will be built at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) construction sites in Korea.
"GTT's Mark III Flex membrane containment system has been selected to equip the tanks of the vessels, the deliveries of which are scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022," the group said.
