GTT: wins order from Jiangnan Shipyard
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening GTT announced that it has received an order from the Chinese Jiangnan Shipyard, for the design of LNG reservoirs for five new container ships, each of which has a capacity of 15,000 containers.
"The ships will be built on behalf of a European ship-owner and their delivery will be staggered between the second half of 2021 and the first half of 2022," GTT said.
GTT will design the LNG reservoirs. The Mark III Flex membrane containment system has been chosen for these vessels.
