GTT: receives order from SHI
(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announced late on Monday that it has received an order from the Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), for the design of tanks of a new LNG tanker that has a capacity of 174,000 m3, on behalf of the Japanese shipowner Nisshin Shipping Co.
The vessel's tanks will incorporate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system.
Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022, GTT said.
