Areva: fuel supply contracts in the United States.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nuclear giant Areva NP has recently signed three contracts for the supply of fuel assemblies worth 560 million dollars in the US.
As a result, the company will supply its "ATRIUM11" fuel for advanced boiling water reactors and its "GAIA" and "HTP" fuels for pressurised water reactors to four nuclear power plants from 2020.
These assemblies will all be produced by the Richland plant in the State of Washington. These contracts enable electricians to secure their future supply, in order to ensure an efficient and increasingly reliable electricity production.
