Coface: AM Best maintains 'A' credit rating
(CercleFinance.com) - Coface says that on 19 May AM Best confirmed its financial strength rating (IFS) "A" (Excellent) assigned to the credit insurance group, as well as to CNAIC and Coface Ré, maintaining its "stable" outlook for them.
The rating agency says that these ratings reflect Coface's financial strength, considered very strong by AM Best, as well as an adequate operational performance, a favourable business model and appropriate risk management.
While it acknowledges that the group's future performance may be subject to volatility, AM Best believes that Coface has the ability to take prompt and appropriate risk mitigation actions in the event of a deterioration in performance.
