Suez: about to divest businesses in Sweden
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced an exclusive agreement with PreZero, to sell it its waste recycling and recovery activities in Sweden for 3.
7 billion Swedish krona (enterprise value), or around 357 million euros.
Having a network of about 50 sites in Sweden and almost 1,100 employees, the activities concerned generated sales of about 250 million euros and EBITDA of about 34 million euros last year.
The proposed transaction closes the first wave of divestments earlier than originally planned, totaling around 2.3 billion euros at present. It is expected to be concluded by the end of 2020, subject to regulatory authorisations and other usual conditions.
