Suez: CEO strongly opposes Veolia's offer
(CercleFinance.com) - In an interview given with Le Figaro at the weekend, the Suez's CEO, Bertrand Camus, is firmly against Veolia's takeover bid, which he says would absurd for Suez and disastrous for France.
Remember that Veolia has offered to buy 29.9% of Suez from Engie with a view to a possible takeover bid on the remaining capital.
Suez does not need to get married, Bertrand Camus said in Le Figaro, who believes that Veolia is not proposing an industrial project, but rather dismantle 40% of Suez's business in France.
