Suez: expects H1 sales to fall 6% in organic terms
(CercleFinance.com) - Noting that its June sales are gradually getting back to normal, following the low point reached during the lockdown in April and May, Suez considers that its H1 sales are expected to decrease by 6% organically compared to 2019.
However, the utilities group says that an additional cost reduction of over 100 million euros partly offsets the impact of lower volumes over the first six months of 2020.
Confirming that it is accelerating its transformation plan, Suez adds that its H1 results will include one-off costs relating to this transformation, as well as costs to cover this and risks relating to the current context.
