Suez: wins hazardous waste contract in China
(CercleFinance.com) - On Emmanuel Macron's official visit to China, Suez announces that its local joint venture, Suez NWS, has won the hazardous waste treatment contract for an industrial park in Dongying, in the Shandong Province.
This contract, which will generate combined sales that are estimated at about 603 million euros over 30 years, is the ninth for the utilities group in the treatment of hazardous waste in China.
As part of this contract, with its local partners, Suez NWS has created a joint venture responsible for the financing, construction and operation of a hazardous waste energy processing unit that has a capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year.
