Suez: builds new unit in the UK
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced the construction of a new energy recovery unit at Stockton-on-Tees (County Durham) in the UK.
This new unit will process household and commercial waste in the north-east of the country from 2021. Suez has invested approximately 150 million euros in the plant.
This new facility will be able to process 240,000 tonnes of residual waste per year as from 2021. It will be able to produce about 25 MW electricity, representing the consumption of around 30,000 households.
