Getlink: passenger shuttle traffic up 4% in February
(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has announced that passenger shuttle traffic rose by 4% y-o-y in February, with 165,784 passenger cars transported.
Since 1 January, over 325,000 passenger cars have crossed the English Channel with Le Shuttle, up 3% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, Shuttle Freight traffic transported 136,293 trucks in February 2020, down 7% y-o-y, with the group having not yet identified the impact of the covid-19 outbreak.
The company had an unfavourable comparison basis due to the storage effects seen last year ahead of Brexit.
