Eurotunnel: changes name to Getlink.
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurotunnel Group has announced that it is adopting the name of "Getlink" as from today, with, "This new name reflecting the dynamism of connection and exchange, marks the Group's passage into an exciting new era for mobility infrastructures".
Getlink amalgamates the activities of the Eurotunnel trademarks (cross-channel exchanges), Europorte (rail freight in France), ElecLink (future electrical interconnection between the UK and France) and CIFFCO (private training center dedicated to railways).
“With revenues of over one billion euros, an operating margin of 50% and predictable cash flows up to 2086, Getlink has demonstrated the effectiveness and resilience of its economic model,” said CEO Jacques Gounon.
