ADP: passenger traffic up 4.2% in August
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Wednesday, Aéroports de Paris reported total traffic that was up 4.
2% y-o-y in August 2018.
The airport operator welcomed a total of 7.2 million passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+4.5%) and 3.1 million at Paris-Orly (+3.6%).
Over July and August, traffic at Parisian airports reached 20.6 million passengers, against 19.9 million last year, meaning a new record for this period.
Overall, international traffic (excluding Europe) rose by 5.3%, meanwhile traffic to Europe (excluding France) rose by 4.0%; while it rose by 1.1% to destinations in France.
Since the start of 2018, traffic at Paris Aéroport has risen by 3.2%, with a total of 70.6 million passengers.
