Arkema: completes acquisition of LIP Bygningsartikler
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema has announced that on 3 January 2020,its subsidiary Bostik completed the acquisition of LIP Bygningsartikler, Danish the leader in tile adhesives, waterproofing systems and floor preparation solutions, a deal that it announced last December.
"This acquisition, like the Prochimir acquisition finalized in October 2019, is in line with Arkema's strategy to continuously grow its Adhesives business through bolt-on acquisitions which complement Bostik's geographic presence, product ranges and technologies," Arkema said.
With annual revenue of around 30 million euros, LIP has around 50 employees and has a major site in Nørre Aaby (Denmark), equipped with highly automated production facilities that comply with CO2 neutrality norms.
