EDF: strategic cooperation agreement with GE
(CercleFinance.com) - Xavier Ursat (EDF's executive director in charge of engineering and new nuclear projects) and Andreas Lusch (CEO of GE's steam power business), today announce their signature of a strategic cooperation agreement, as part of the construction of six EPR reactors at the site of Jaipur, India.
GE will assure the design and provision of the main components of the conventional islets of the Jaipur nuclear power plant. The industrial group will also offer assistance services to the operation and a training program.
EDF will act as an engineering integrator for the entire project (nuclear islet, conventional islet and auxiliary systems) and will provide all the necessary input data.
