EDF: up based on positive results and comments
(CercleFinance.com) - The EDF share gained 2,5% on the Paris stock exchange based on the publication of positive results and encouraging analyst comments.
The French energy giant's revenue grew to 20.4 billion euros for the first quarter of 2018, with organic growth of 3.0% compared to the first quarter of 2017. Nuclear production is at 112.9 TWh, up 4.4 TWh compared to the first quarter of 2017.
“The share has performed very well over the last 12 months (+36%). It remains attractive, taking into account its high sensitivity to electricity prices and its growth potential”, notes Oddo today.
The analyst maintains its 'Buy' recommendation as well as its target price of 12.50 euros.
