EDF: complaint filed concerning Flamanville EPR
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces that it has filed a complaint with police against X following the disappearance of locks on the cupboards that contain IT equipment for the control centre of the EPR at Flamanville.
The electricity company specifies that the seals fitted inside the cupboards are intact and that the cupboards containing the IT equipment for the control centre that protects the nuclear boiler are not involved in this disappearance.
All the relevant authorities were informed immediately. An inquiry is underway to determine the circumstances of this incident, which has no impact on the security of the facilities. EDF has also launched an integrity audit for the control centre.
