EDF: agreements with Mitsubishi and Assystem.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday EDF confirmed the signing of agreements to enter the capital of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' NEW NP and that of Assystem.
The electricity generator said it would remain open to taking stakes in other strategic partners.
The Japanese group will hold a 15% stake which may be increased to 19.5%. Meanwhile, the engineering and innovation consulting firm will acquire 5% of the capital.
The sale price for 100% of the equity value of NEW NP has also been confirmed at 2.5 billion euros, excluding any additions and price adjustments and without taking on financial debt on the date of the deal's completion.
