Alstom: 'Lumière' tram enters service in Ile-de-France
(CercleFinance.com) - At the weekend Alstom announced the commissioning of the "lumière" tram on the T9 line, which now connects Paris to Orly-Ville in 30 minutes, which is twice as fast as before.
The Citadis X05 can carry up to 314 passengers. From this year, 80,000 passengers are expected to use the line, which travels through the 13th arrondissement of Paris and the towns of Ivry-sur-Seine, Vitry-sur-Seine, Thiais, Choisy-le-Roi and Orly-Ville.
