Alstom: record order book at end-December
(CercleFinance.com) - For Q3 2018-19 Alstom has announced 3.
4 billion euros in orders, double the 1.7 billion euros over Q3 2017-18, bringing its order book to a record level of 39.7 billion euros at 31 December 2018.
The transport equipment group's sales reached 2 billion euros over this period, up 10% as reported and at a constant consolidation scope and exchange rates, bang in line with its targets.
For fiscal year 2018-19, Alstom therefore confirmed sales of around 8 billion euros and an adjusted operating margin that is expected to reach around 7%, forecasts established at a constant consolidation scope and exchange rates.
