Alstom: selects Sogeti for Lyon Metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Sogeti High Tech, a subsidiary of Capgemini, announces that it has been selected by Alstom to carry out the testing and commissioning activities of the new autopilot systems as part of SYTRAL's "Avenir Métro" program.
The IT giant explains that this program aims to increase the transport capacity of lines A, B and D of the Lyon metro to cope with the increased level of traffic, which is estimated at 30% in the coming years.
Sogeti High Tech teams dedicated to technical and industrial IT will contribute to the testing of all systems of the new autopilot, as well as the migration and switching tests of the existing system.
